OhMega nut Butters are produced in the Strand, South Africa, by Credé Oils – the team behind SA’s favourite brand of niche edible oils. Credé’s nut butters contain no salt, sugar, preservatives or anything other than nuts – roasted, ground and bottled.
Crede’s almond butter is 100% natural. We use almonds with the ‘skin’ on (not blanched) and simply roast, grind and bottle. Almonds are a rich source of vitamin E, protein and monounsaturated fats, the healthy fat that helps lower bad cholesterol LDL. They are also rich in dietary fibre and essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and other antioxidants. A diet rich in almonds helps reduce the risks of heart disease, diabetes and other chronic illnesses.
